Afternoon on a Saturday seemed to be the perfect time to walk around Cedar Valley and check to see if anything had changed. Which, nothing had it seemed. The same group of teens hanging around by the park. The same parents watching their little children climb on the monkey bars. And the same sounds of birds chirping in the background. Everything seemed to be the same as it always had been, but was it?
That was the question on Brooke's mind as she wandered around various streets, just checking everything out. As fate would have it, Brooke seemed to be the only person who hadn't talked to the new guy Craig, since he moved here yet. Though they had been talking online for a while, she had yet to see him in Cedar Valley, though she knew he was there. Maybe she hadn't been searching for him and maybe the reason for that had been quite simple. Still, when she noticed the familiar face from her computer screen, walking around the streets, she had to smile and wave.

With hisd hands firmly in his pockets and his legs carrying him in any direction, you could call him slightly lost. Well, Cedar Valley was alot bigger than he had expected before arriving. For one, he hadn't expected to ever meet the two girls he'd been talking to for a while, well he'd met the one and not the other.
As his mind thought about the two girls he returned the wave then suddeny realised who it was. It just so happened to be one of the girls on his mind. Not the golden curled Cheyenne who he'd met already, but instead the girl he'd been waiting to meet. It was the one and only Brooke Crimson. He steadied his legs towards her and smiled, this would be the first time they'd talked in person. "Hey, Brooke!"

Brooke grinned and met Craig half-way through the street. "Finally the all-famous Craig decides to grace me with his prescence." There was a certain thing about Brooke. She had this way of talking to strangers like it was nothing. She could just walk up to any person and practically start up a conversation about anything. Just her personality she guessed. Crossing her arms, Brooke looked Craig up and down and smirked, "Well, you look even better in person."
(Bleh...bad I know)

Craig grinned at her comments and then returned the favour. "Well, I would say you look even better than your pictures but I couldn't... because there too perfect!" Craig normall wasn't the type to be flirtatious but with Brooke it just felt different. "So, have you been trying to avoid me or something?" It was quite right, Brooke was proberly the last person he had actually met. Even though they'd been exchanging pictures and chatting online for months. It already felt they'd been friends for years.

Brooke smirked at his own comment, "Yea, well, at least the real thing can show off my new outfits." Brooke posed, sporting off her pink tank top and tight jeans. She giggled at herself and stood straight, looking at Craig. "Oh come on. I lived here first. Shouldn't YOU have been the one to come see me?"

He laughed lightly as she spun around and removed his hand from his pocket. "Girls and there clothes...I will never understand!" Then he listened to the rest of her words. "Well, I was kind of too busy getting lost and arguing with some Markus guy." He guessed there would be some connection between Brooke and Markus, there always were with those types of people. The 'populars'.

Brooke's expression quickly changed from a simple smile to a simple 'rolling-of-the-eyes'. Markus Scott was the one guy that Brooke just avoided as much as possible. "Ugh. Don't even get me started on him." Brooke doubted that Craig knew about Markus 'using' Chey so she kept her mouth shut considering she wanted to scream cause after Chey he seemed to take a liking to Brooke which would never in a million years happen. Not if she could help it.

"Yea, I guess I only got half the picture of him. A guy with aan over sized ego!" Then he just stopped and looked at her for a moment then dropped his gaze realising he'd been staring at her. "So, you feel like doing anything? So I can get to know you in person instead of through a chatroom?"

As soon as she asked if she wanted to go somewhere, Brooke nodded, taking her mind off of Markus for the time-being. "Sure, how about we just walk up to the park?" Ahh, the park. A simply relaxing place. It seemed like the perfect place to go to escape everything and, in a way, the park was kind of like Brooke's sanctuary. Well, that or the bar which she seemed to be spending way to much time at.

"Sounds good aslonmg as you lead the way. Im not too street wise with Cedar VAlley yet!" He smiled at her warmly. It felt different than talking to her over a glass screen. As if she was something real. At first he hadn't believed the pictures were actually hers, but instead some model from a magazine. But soon he came to realise they were hers after he'd seen a couple with her and Chey in them.

Brooke grinned and linked her arm in his, kind of dragging him down the road. "So you met Chey then I'm guessing? She's been bragging about it all over the place." Brooke couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt with the way she acted around Craig. She knew that Chey liked him, but it wasn't like they were dating or anything. So he wasn't forbidden or anything.

He felt her arm through his and walked with her. Then replied to her, "yea I've met Chey now in person. But it kinda felt like I knew everything about her if you get me!" He couldn't help but grin in hearing someone was bragging about meeting up with him. "Well, your lucky to meet the one and only Craig Dice!" He grinned down at her cheekily.

"Well, when you talk to someone, even thru a chatroom, for months, it's kind of hard NOTto get to know a person." Brooke said through her smiles. Somehow it was different talking to Craig in person. Maybe it was the fact that she could actually stand next to him, linking arms. Just that physical thing, ya know? "Oh no no no. I think you got it wrong. YOU should be lucky to even be in the prescence of the one and only Brooke Crimson."

Craig just smiled through all of it, yea he was smiley but also rather broddy at times. It just depended on what mood you caught him in. "You didn't tell Chey you'd been talking to me on the chatrooms did you." Then he added, "And yes, Im sure im very lucky to be walking with you!"

"Okay, first off," Brooke started as they walked, "I'm not that stupid. I know what things to keep hidden. Second off, I haven't said a word about us talking. I know Chey. She can quickly think something's up. And third off, you are very lucky." Brooke ended her little talk with a grin as she looked up at Craig.
